Annapolis, March 13, 2008 The 29th Annual Maryland
March for Life was a tremendous success! Attendance was the highest it has been in several years. Many thanks to Pastor David Frye who led the Prayer Service and Archbishop Edwin O’Brien who officiated the Mass. Both were instrumental in drawing many faithful followers to this year’s March. A special thanks goes to the Pastor of
St. Mary’s Church in Annapolis, and in particular Ginny Dauses, Campus
Minister, for graciously hosting the March once again. The accommodations and
support provided are beyond what words can express. Thank you. Thanks to Steve & Michael Peroutka
for again sponsoring the post-March Mixer. This social event is better
attended since we moved it to St. Mary’s. Besides being a family-friendly
environment, we are able to accommodate more people -- and the Peroutka’s
make this part of the March possible. Thanks to the Maryland Legislators who
stand firm in the defense of the pre-born. We need more men & women to
represent our point of view in the Maryland Legislature. Thanks to our speakers at Lawyers Mall
who articulated the point so well: Life is Precious and we need to defend it
in all stages of development. Maryland’s Pregnancy Centers play a vital role
in assisting women in both expected and unexpected pregnancies. We Support
Pregnant Women! Finally, thanks to all of you who
attended the 29th Annual Maryland March for Life. You are the
